Our last paper atZEFIRA and TU/e Chemical Engineering and Chemistry has been published in cooperation with CASALE.
In this paper Pranav Arun explored the use of hydrotalcite in a plasma-assisted process where CO₂ is first adsorbed and then desorbed and converted in a single step. This approach addresses one of the key challenges in ICCU: how to move beyond capture alone and enable direct activation and conversion of CO₂ within the same system.
The work also demonstrates that plasma-induced heating plays an important role in CO₂ release from the sorbent, providing valuable insight into the mechanisms governing plasma-assisted desorption.
