ZEFIRA was pleased to welcome a delegation from KOBELCO, Japan, for a visit focused on future cooperation in advanced reactor technologies.
During the meeting, the teams discussed shared interests in the development and application of membrane reactors and plasma-based systems for cleaner and more efficient chemical processes. These technologies are highly relevant for the transition towards a more sustainable chemical industry, enabling improved process intensification, energy efficiency, and new routes for low-carbon production.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to exchange technical perspectives, identify potential synergies, and explore possible pathways for joint technology development. Both membrane reactors and plasma systems are areas where innovation can play an important role in accelerating industrial decarbonisation and supporting the use of renewable energy and alternative feedstocks.
ZEFIRA looks forward to continuing the dialogue with KOBELCO and exploring opportunities for collaboration in the development and scale-up of these promising technologies.
We thank the KOBELCO team for their visit and for the constructive discussions.
